I guess this is just kind of sad. This has degenerated into a blog that is meant to evaluate the things that are wrong with America and it has become a microcosm for the things that are wrong with America.

I'm not going to even come to these comments sections any more. They're yours. Not one of you has even addressed one article that I have written, it has all been

You can comment all you want, that's all they are, uneducated opinions of people who have never read a book on these subjects, never written a paper on the subject, had all of there information fed to them by one bias source, never thought critically of these subjects.

Myopinion, the most literate of all of you said "If this means that I must vote for radical, war mongering, oil hungry men, who seek only to better themselves at the expense of others, while leaving my freedoms intact, then so be it."

That seems to sum it up for all of you. You are content with your little place in the world, you trust evil men to occasionally through you some half chewed grizzle from the feast that they are serving to there wealthy powerful friends, and that's ok with you.

KTBE, biodiesel runs on any diesel engine. Diesel engines were originally built to run on oil. Biodiesel is an oil. Here's what the National Board of Biodiesel says, specifically about existing engines abilities to run biodiesel:

"Biodiesel works in any diesel engine with few or no modifications to the engine or the fuel system. Biodiesel has a solvent effect that may release deposits accumulated on tank walls and pipes from previous diesel fuel storage. The release of deposits may clog filters initially and precautions should be taken. Ensure that only fuel meeting the biodiesel specification (D 6751) is used." RE: are we all hippies, wear tie dye and drive volvos... Um, no. That was 30 years ago. We've branched out and now wear solid colors, have short hair and drive other imports, as well. Does that make the info on biodiesel more or less compelling?

Regarding living standards, Amory and Hunter Lovins' work on "natural capitalism" is a great place to start for very pro-capitalist ideas about how to continue improving our standards of living without killing our planet to do so. Maybe we should all get mopeds and drive around. Unfortunetly oil prices will continue to rise untill someone puts a stop to it. There is no need to charge what they do a barrel, but guess what they do. But we have to because we all want nice fancy cars. Im sure you all dont, but hey, some of us want to get ahead in life. Learn about biodiesel! Biodiesel is simply cooking oil that can be used to fuel a diesel engine. It is abundant and wasted, it is a superior fuel because it releases far fewer toxins when burned, it is renewable (comes from plants), and it works great. Individuals and groups can develop a relationship with local restaurants to collect their unwanted used cooking oil.

I have no recollection of Iraq invading Saudi Arabia. They invaded Kuwait. We were in Saudi Arabia to protect the oil and money that coming pouring into the U.S. not sure if that counts as catching you in a lie.

Nope, sorry, none of that makes any sense. My going to Iraq would in no way help my local community, protect my children or really benefit the Iraqi people. We can't go to Iraq and quell insurgency.
